britisher days
In India, at least in Delhi where I am, still has some “Britisher days” influence on modern English today. The British left behind, other than further institutionalisation of castes, archaic English words.
One example is the word “felicitate” I found in an invitation card to an event:
“…requests the pleasure of your company to felicitate the winners of…”
