I recalled moving back to Singapore from the UK in 2009. That transition was challenging and frustrating. But I was glad to turn that frustration into creative energy to curate my first photography show in Singapore, my4walls.

That was really quite magical, the whole struggle as a first-time curator and first-time photographer showing my work. I sold 3 pieces; we had a full-house opening, appeared on the top business newspaper in Singapore; we had many supporters and made many friends.
Since then, I put together an artgig in 2010 before leaving Singapore for India. 2011, friends and I formed a creative collective, arthack, and did a 6-event artgig here in Delhi. I wonder what magic will 2012 hold. Hopefully, the same magic, if not more, as the my4walls show.
